Fantastic stay with a large, clean room featuring a great bathroom and comfy beds. The breakfast was delightful with a wide variety of options. The pool area always had free sunbeds, and it was just a short walk to the beach or the charming old town. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming!

excellent location

melrose rethymno by mage hotels had an excellent breakfast with loads of tasty options, like yummy cakes and fresh fruits. the staff was super friendly and always made us feel welcome. getting a poolside spot was easy, and I loved that there was a good mix of sunny and shady areas to enjoy. plus, the location is just a minute from the beach, which was perfect!

the only downside was that I wished for more organized activities.

The Premium Room with Side Sea View was super comfy! I loved the incredibly comfortable beds, and the balcony was a nice touch for drying clothes. The room was clean and stylish. Having air conditioning control meant I could set the temperature just right. Still, I wish there was a bit more space for luggage. The views from the balcony were a massive plus though!
